What's this bush?

Grows to one or two metres.

For me it is hard to answer without a photo of the plant and an idea of where it grows. You don't have your location showing in your Profile. Also, was it taken recently? Spring or Fall? Late Winter or Late Summer?

Years ago I was told it was an introduced species and considered a weed. They exist in two variants - large and small. I'm trying to find info on taking cuttings. I want to save the smaller variant. It's quite old and nearly dried up.

Found it. Polygala myrtifolia. Now I have to work out how to take cuttings...
