unknown columnar

Post by CosmicSerpent33 »

Hey, would anybody know which species of cactus this is? Received it as a gift, and I'm having a bit of trouble identifying it.
I appreciate any assistance, cheers

Thanks for your suggestions. After some research on both suggested species, I am still feeling unsure on this one. Both suggestions have great similarities to the cactus pictured above. Perhaps when it is a bit more mature, identifying this cactus will be easier?

Thanks
Nate
