How can you get this species to bloom?

Outdoor, full sun.
Consider as serious environmental pest in some places.

I did. I feel like it may have some kind of temperature or Day length requirement I don’t understand. I grew it from seed from a fruit I bought at a Mediterranean store.

It has to have some sort of winter and dormancy period to bloom. You don't say where you live. But googling it looks like that cactus is good down to what one sight says 45 and another sight says 20 Fahrenheit. Bottom line if it is staying indoors it never knows it's winter and likely will never bloom that way.

That’s what I thought it might be. Even when I lived in San Antonio it was hardy To maybe 26 and would take damage A lot of Winters. I had a few clones in the ground there. I live in Tennessee Nashville area every winter here would kill it out right.

So usually I take it outside around this time If it is native to central Mexico I don’t think natively It sees Very much seasonal differentiation.

Just googling it looks like it can get down into the 30's.

I also think plants should be about 2 meters high to start producing flowers. How big is this one?
