Parodia and ?Neoraimondia

Post by dmcac »

Hello! I would like to confirm the identity of the following three cacti. Plants 1 and 2 were bought at the same time as Parodia magnifica. I noticed that they noticeably differ by the length of their spines. Is it an intraspecific variation or actually there might be 2 different species? The third cacti I tentatively identified as Neoraimondia herzogiana. I would appreciate any comments! DM

My guesses:

1 & 2 Are both the same species, which I prefer to call Notocactus magnificus

3 Is a lot harder, and only because I've grown your suggestion and what it probably is do I suggest this: Stetsonia coryne
