This is the first I heard of this and it is very good news. I would love to see E. grusonii in the wild.

I was just looking at them! The Rebutia thing sure is a mess.
I think when/if I get the chance to incorporate Backeberg's taxonomy, it will really make a mess of that section!

the whole Rebutia, Sulcorebutia, Weingartia taxonomy is a nightmare to write objectively about
but at least i managed to write 4 in the last 24 hours

An interesting little story about the Frailea cataphracta v. tuyensis AA12 that I did yesterday.

I grew that plant from seed bought from
http://www.succseed.com/ with a field collection number of AA12 this field number was collected by Alexander Arzberger who is a member here at the forum, I also used his habitat image in the article so it all ties in nicely as a cactiguide article.
