Ferocactus and Rhipsalis

Post by dmcac »

Hello! These are 2 cacti that I have recently obtained but without any id on them. My guesses will be: 1) Ferocactus hamatacanthus and 2) Rhipsalis mesembryanthemoides. I would appreciate any opinion on their genus/species identity very much!

Please forgive my uncontrollable compulsion to interject my nomenclature prejudice, but I prefer to call it Hamatocactus hamatacanthus (ham squared :) ).
