Hello everyone,
My name is Michel and I live in Montreal, Canada. l always wanted to have an indoor cacti garden and now that I am retired, I will try.

What kind of plants are you looking to grow? What's the space you have in mind for the garden like in terms of light and sun exposure from nearby windows?

I do have windows I can use but I was thinking of using artificial lighting made for plants. In Montreal, almost half the year is cold and windows can be drafty.
I don’t know for now what Cati I will purchase, I just started to explore my choices. But I did purchase one that I was told is easy to care for and a good starter plant. I believe it’s called a Dragon Fruit Cactus. It just looks nice.

Dragon fruit would most likely be Hylocereus undatus, though there are a few other species that produce dragon fruit. I've had an easy time with them.
