Stenocereus and Peniocereus

Stenocereus and Peniocereus

Hello! I have just received these two cacti and they were without any id. My guesses are: 1) Stenocereus thurberi and 2) Peniocereus greggii. I would appreciate any opinion on genus/species identity very much!

Yeah, #1 is most likely S. thurberi.

Yep, I agree with zpeckler.

Could you give us a sharp close-up of the other one, eg from the upper part, where it gets wider? How tall / thick is it?

The second plant does look like Peniocereus greggii. The type with marbled stem is uncommon, but here are other examples:
