Hello all,
Was wondering if anyone might help me with the identification of this bulb succulent.
Google image searches portray it as an Albuca.
Any thoughts appreciated!
Cheers,
George

Re: Identification of bulb succulent?
Hello George,
would you mind adding another picture of the caudex? -- I can't discern if they are structured or not but if so how.
Are the leaves flat, or do the have a C-shaped or a D-shaped cross-section? (Hope that is the correct word.)
That would make things easier.

Nachtkrab,
They are C-shaped in cross section. The caudex appears somewhat fleshy in nature and splits by division, much like Bowiea volubilis.
I looked at Callibanus and I thought that had a woody and cracked caudex?

The leaves are also fleshy/succulent and not tough or strap-like.
I'll send a pic to your email nachtkrab, as I can attach a pic here.

Finally figured it out to be Albuca sp. 'Augrabies Hills'. It flowered earlier this spring
