Echeveria black/brown spots

Hello everyone!
I need help with my Echeveria frosty. Some weeks ago it started to develop some brown/black spots, especially on the upper part, and the new leaves are withering (ever before reaching their full size). I've been told that the pot was too small, so I repotted it a week ago (there is still some dirt on the leaves as you can see from the pics).
Does anyone knows what's causing those spots? Is anyway I can make my plant healthier?
Thank you very much for the help!

Echeverias are succulents, not cacti, so your thread should go into the Succulent Growing Help forum. I'm one of the moderators, and I can move it over there for you if you'd like.

I've this form and typical form in both California, and Arizona; so climate shouldn't enter into a reasonable diagnosis. When dark areas are noted at the growing point, it's typically either the result of fungus growth, or a reaction to an insecticidal spray. If it's the former cause, it can come from a stagnant moist atmosphere, or through plant parasites excreting sweet sap which causes fungus to develop. In either case the effected area should be cut 1/2" below the discolored area, and discarded.

Done. I also kept it as a shadow topic in the Sick Cacti forum so that members who see your thread there respond in the Succulent Growing Help forum.
