Has anyone successfully crossed these two?

Someone in this thread from twelve years ago seems to have done it, but all the images are dead. I don't think there's much restriction on interspecific breeding within the Gymno genus, if at all, so I'd say go for it.

I’d like to try too, I ask to know if there must be a specific pollen and seed parent order?gallomata22 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 08, 2024 7:04 pm i just got one now i hope to be able to hybridize,i read the older post on the other forum the guy seems to have had sucess, but the pics are expired what a loss

Not that I know of. If your mihanovichii is a moon cactus, I wouldn't count on it bringing a fruit all the way to maturity, though.

I have a few moon cacti I got seed from many times, so I’ll be using those.CurtisMarauder wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2024 4:37 pm Not that I know of. If your mihanovichii is a moon cactus, I wouldn't count on it bringing a fruit all the way to maturity, though.
