Re: Copiapoa identification III
C. haseltoniana usually has yellowish/orange wool in the crown or areoles. As said previously it is hard to identify Copiapoa's whilst small.

Maybe somebody who grows many from seed can help?

Re: Copiapoa identification III
Somebody suggested that the one I thought was haseltoniana is actually marginata. I actually would nearly say it is marginata indeed. I may need to whip out all of my cacti books to see if I can get any info.. also while searching for IDs I found that cacti field website have plenty of photos of seedlings, so will try go take a good look at all of the photos and compare to what I have. Thank you for your help Dave.
