Help identifying Mammillaria species

Post by Carondelet75 »

Hi all,
I have attached a couple of photos of a Mammillaria that I purchased at a Cacti & Succulent Society show in Sydney Aus. It was labelled Mammillaria cederyanensis? I can find no mention of this species anywhere online. Can anyone tell me if this is a valid species or perhaps an out of date synonym for another. Thanks for the help.

It is probably misspelled Mammillaria cadereytensis, a short spined form of Mammillaria parkinsonii.

Thank you Nino_G - I think you are right. I don't have parkinsonii so it looks like it will be a nice addition.
