Guys
I am starting to get back into growing C&S, but am limited by the fact I only have access to a SW facing window sill.
I have a porch which I am looking at having reglazed to give me a larger growing area, but still with one sided lighting from the SW.
I am wondering about mounting LED lighting above the growing area to augment the natural light.
Have any of you any experience with LED lighting in similar circumstances?
I know it would be ideal to put in a greenhouse (I wish), but there is nowhere in the garden I could realistically put one and as I am 80 in a couple of weeks, I can't see myself selling up and moving just for the sake of a greenhouse.
Any help and advice would be more than welcome.
TIA
Fof

Re: LED lights
Any grow-light designed for indoor growing (especially the ones sold for canabis growers) is also good for cacti and succulents. I'm using Spider Farmer brand with very good results. You might consider this lamp: https://spiderfarmer.eu/products/sf1000-led-grow-light/
It will comfortably cover 60x60cm area (24x24") and even larger for succulents that doesn't require great intensity of light. It can be used exclusively (without natural sunlight). If you just want to augment light on your windowsil this lamp might be a better option: https://spiderfarmer.eu/products/sf600-led-grow-light/
Best regards,
Nino
