Please help with identification.

I'm fairly new at this so I can't give a specific name. I have one just like it and I've always heard it referred to as a Madagascar Palm.

I've been known to be wrong though

A succulent for certain, but not a Cactus.

It is a Madagascar Palm. The thorns are deceiving as you would think it is a cactus, but it is not. When I figure out how to post a photo I will show you mine. Kathi[/img]

Beautiful plant !!!

It's a Pachypodium (belongs to the Apocynaceae family), but I don't know exactly what species it is. Could be P. lamerei, I'm not sure.
