Re: Welcome Craig Fry!
Many in the Cactus world are obsessed with Copiapoa columna-alba
me, being one of them
But I only had one that was old enough to flower
Luckily, I have friends that also share my love
Ed Reed, the curator at the CSU Fullerton education Arboretum
Bought the Rosmarie Saurer (sp?) collection after she died
Which was a large part of the Ann Shein Copiapoa collection that Rosmarie bought after Ann died
So we how have a mating pair Here are some 5 year old seedlings Thelocactus hasitfer
odd Thelo with it's elongated thin stem
it's a shy bloomer Echinocereus coccineus inermis

I can't tell difference between Echinocereus triglochidiatus var. mojavensis f. inermis and Echinocereus coccineus f. inermis .
Re: Welcome Craig Fry!
Neither can I
It could be Echinocereus triglochidiatus var. mojavensis f. inermis

Nice looking plants. I almost feel bad for my Thelocactus Hastifer when they flower compared to a bicolor but they are pretty sweet plants
