two of my mamms are flowering right now is it ok?

This is true, I can count on at least a couple Mammillarias to be flowering on any given day. I think I mentioned before that my Cleistocactus winterii is continously producing flowers. I think it has had flowers on it every day for about two years now.

Hello Mark -Did you notice what it looked like right before it flowered? I have a whole bunch of black 'spots' on my Copper King one.
I looked at them with a magnifying glass & they look like they are either flower buds, or sprouts. Most of the sprouts I've seen on-line in picture gallerys are near or below the base, so that makes me think these are places where flowers will bud.
