Ok, I know I haven't added all the pictures that have been sent to me yet, but I was trying to come up with a better way to list the gaps.
So I put together a query that will dynamically update as more pictures are added. A total count in red at the top of the page will let us know how many pictures are yet to go.
The list is alphabetical by genus and includes everything except Echinopsis and Opuntia for the moment:

Thanks again for all who have contributed so far.
Please feel free to comment or post suggestions!

Well I'm happy to annouce that I got all the latest batch of images added today! The missing pic count dropped from 775 to 749. At that rate, we should a have a picture of every species in about 30 weeks! ha ha -I wish! I have a feeling it will get harder and harder to find those images. Perhaps we need to all target various parts of the hemisphere -now who will volunteer to explore the Caribbean and photograph all those species??

Many more pictures have been added!
149 images from Gunnar, several more from Hob, and one from Piyeron -including 26 new species.
The "missing pic" count is 725, but that is because I started filling in the Echinopsis blanks. Still have more of those to go and Opuntia galore!

Hi Daiv,
I do appreciate this project! It's incredible. And I think your list of missing plants helps a lot. I just went through it and have to admit that I don't even know the bulk of the names , not to mention that I could help you further with more pictures.
Good luck with hunting up the rest!
Ruth
