Hi,
I am afraid it is just about impossible to say what the plant is, but it is almost certainly not a cactus. Maybe it could be a Sanseviera or similar. Try looking at those on the web and see what you think.

Hi
I just wonder if it's some sort of Crassula ovata? ('Gollum' seems to be very popular now-a-days)

It is Gollum or Hobbit. Gollum has tubular leaves. The leaves of Hobbit are only curved.

I'm guessing that this "Gollum" plant looks something like mine?
Weird - a Euphorbia is not a cactus, yet a Pereskia is.

WOW! That was quite an ID. I would have said Sanseviera too.
John -I guess that's what you get for using a word like impossible.
All Cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are Cacti

I guess your right Daiv, must remember not to use that one again. Nothing is impossible for these guys and gals.
