:-k
Got loaded down with the oldest step-granddaughters 2 guineapigs some 4 years ago when they moved to a flat and couldn't keep them any longer and the flippin furballs drive me up the walls! All they do is sit there looking stupid and squeal for food every 2 minutes. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm a bleeding heart I would of potato gunned them across the highway years ago, instead we end looking like beggers at the local grocery store by raiding the scrap bins for lettuce leaves.

Bleeding heart only carries so far though, an obviously severely injured animal (non pet) generally gets dispatched quickly and as humanely as I can. Guess that's just something I picked up along the way helping out one of the local farmers when I was a kid.

That is lovely. I think cats have some sort of affinity with cacti, I often find ours laying in the midst of them.

Awesome tortoises you have! They are such neat animals! There are actually quite a few Cactiguide members who keep tortoises. 8)

Cool. What a nice unique pet.
My cactus must be gods. They demand blood sacrifice.

Hahah nice one!

So, here's the reason for many of my cacti grafts, this little girl just loves to take off any buds and pups growing at my cacti.

Here's my little Mi-mu (Mitzi) She followed me everywhere even up the mountain when I took the dog for a walk. Yet she never went away from around the house unless I was with her. Her mum, who was a stray that turned up on our doorstep behaved exactly the same. Sadly we lost her (Mitzi) in Feb this year. Still aching for her, she was so special as were each and every other cat that turned up at our house. (We ended up with ten altogether).
This was July last year

She was always keeping an eye on what I was doing. This is when I was sorting out a cold patch for some of plants for the winter.

Oh your cats are beautiful! Mine was also a stray left alone while very young by someone who didn't want it. It was a good thing to bring her home, she is the joy of the house. :D
