Another New Feature on CactiGuide.com

Post by daiv »

Ok everybody -visit the Home page to see the latest addition to CactiGuide.com

I built a "Latin Name Search" that will let you search synonyms. I'll create an alphabetical listing soon, but for now you can type in the name you want and get to the species. For example:

Let's say you didn't know Mammilloydia candida has been broken out from Mammillaria. If you search for Mammillaria candida, you will still get to the right plant.

Let me know if you have any problems with it.

Daiv,

That is a terrific addition to the Forum and will certainly be extremely useful particularly with the 'lumpers' and 'splitters' doing their best to totally confuse all amateur collectors with the name changes they come up with and then sometimes having the cheek to revert back to the name they originally changed.

Well done mate,
John
