Ha ha! I've been guilty of that...

But it was for tromping around outside, not going out to eat or anything.

Just make sure you don't wear socks with thong sandals!

Hello Daiv,
don't worry about wearing socks - even black ones - with shorts. I do always wear socks with sandals, albeit not black ones.

In Europe it is not frowned upon to wear socks while putting on sandals. It keeps the feet warmer, still allows for air circulation and also keeps your feet cleaner than being barefoot in a sandal.

Not that I'm "Mr. Fashion" or anything.

I'm quite sure I'm a fashion disaster to many a teenager.

OK, so whats wrong with the picture

No matter what I wear I have socks on. I can't walk across carpet without socks on

I see people wearing socks with sandle and flip flops all the time here.
