Contest 27: Black Spines

Post by CoronaCactus »

ACK! My appologies for the delay!

This time round, it's time for some spines! Black spines to be exact.

Show us your creative photo skills and capture that perfect shot of some really cool black spines. Black tipped are acceptable, but must be clearly visible and emphasized.

Deadline is Tuesday July 15, 2008

Good Luck to all!

Ok Peter posted a habitat shot sooo I take it pictures are ok of plants you don't own as long as you are the photographer - right?

Anyway, I really like this Uebelmannia pectinifera from the CSSA show. If it isn't allowed, let me know and I'll dig for a picture of one of my plants...

These spine's look much better at the top of the plant where they contrast with the heavy white wool.
But its in full bloom now and that would be cheating. :)
Forget the dog...Beware of the plants!!!
