Hello, Thought I would introduce myself. I stubbled onto this forum few weeks ago and have been very impressed with the info and pictures.
I'm from Australia and have been growing cactus for only a short while, maybe 2 years. Its now bordering on a obsession.
Cant really say what specific interest I have within cacti. Will settle for growing just about any lol.
not sure how much I can add, being alot newer to this hobbie than others but Im sure I can learn alot.
I will try to get some pics of some of my plants up.

I can relate to the general interest - I too like them all - Epis, Opuntias, North American, South American - you name it!

I also want to extend a warm welcome to you. You probably already know, that there are a number of very active forum members from your country on this forum. Although it seems to be difficult to obtain some new cacti when you do live in Australia - based on the quarantine regulations that your country has in place - I have noticed, that some Australian forum members do have a very good collection already. Some of us also would be willing to trade plants or to give away free seed and plants. I am certain, that you will have no problem at all with indulging in your obsession.

im in Melbourne.
You will fit right in here, very friendly people and soo knowledgeable. quite a few active Aussie members too.
Harald, our quarantine restrictions may be strict but there are plenty of cacti already introduced in the country before the laws were introduced. its only new or very rare plants that can be hard to get ahold of here.
still plenty around to build up a very nice collection!
