Nice going Andy!

I'm happy to see that a cactus won! I'm also a little surprised as cacti leaves are not exactly their most outstanding feature. Of course, second place was not a cactus and only missed by one.

I was surprised to see myself in the lead a couple days ago and also get the win

O. Ellisiana has the coolest horn shaped leaves, sadly it grows out quickly then just looks like a boring plain green pad

Here's the original photo before I cropped it for the contest.

Apparently others agreed with me. :)

Congratulations Andy!

OK Gene, I guess yours was not A. v.r. or even A. f.r. So what is it, pray tell?

Cheers to Andy ... a nice and creative crop that produced a perfect entry.

Paracelsus asked
So what is it, pray tell?
I don't know either. Have to ask Buck. I took the image in his backyard!! :)
It's an "in camera" crop of a plant growing in about a 6" pot. A natural composition that I couldn't overlook.

Cheers ... GeneS
