There is quite a bunch of cacti that are native to this region: Saguaro, Opuntia, Echinocereus, Coryphantha, Ferrocactus and many more.

This picture isn't comparable with pictures taken in habitat. However it is one of my cold hardy plants which grow in the flowerbed the whole year.
Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize that we cannot eat money.
