This recent purchase had no tag. I assume it's an Echeveria. Any idea about the name?

The short answer is that I don't know succulents nearly as well as I know orchids. Thanks for the ID. It looks like the hybrid called 'Kiwi.'

Yep. The leaves of Aeoniums are shaped differently than those of Echeverias. They also have different care needs since they're by and large Canarian so while Echeverias tolerate and and some even need hot, dry, conditions, most Aeoniums need milder conditions all year round.
