Want to show you here some views and cacti photos from my short trip in Arizona last March. Mostly in Phoenix area and Botanical gardens.
First I hoped to see something with flowers. Came out that most grasses, trees and cacti were in bloom.
Even wild Ferocactus opened first flowers during one day.
Mammillaria over the cliff.
Just for saguaros was too early even some early ones budded already.
Climbing Piestawa peak.
City blooms.
It will take some time to fill up this topic.

Nice. Your photos make me me want to get outdoors.
Re: Arizona spring break
Couldn't miss to spend a day in the Desert Botanical Garden, Phoenix. Lot of things to see there too.

Re: Arizona spring break
It came out I had an autumn brake there too. Some of the photos I made in October. Was still hot like in the summer.
Wind Cave trail views.
Interesting Ferocactus spines.
Not enough grass for this snake.

Also some late blooms in Desert Botanical Garden, PHX.
A cactus-clock. And some sites in central Arizona at ~ 1200 m asl.
These look like O. engelmanii, O. macrocentra.
Echinocereus fasciculatus, most likely.
Found an Escobaria vivipara as well.
