Appears to be an echinopsis of some sort, but a better picture would make identification easier.

Could even be one of the "Gymnocalycioide" type of Notocactus, such as Notocactus uebelmannianus.

As George says a better pixture would help. Try taking it from a bit further away then cropping it since you may be getting closer than your camera can focus. Just because you can see an image in the viewfinder does not mean the camera can focus that close. All lenses have a minimum focus distance which if closer to the subject will produce an out of focus image.

Dave I debated Notocactus uebelmannianus, but I was looking at the spines towards the bottom of the picture and they seemed reminiscent of juvenile echinopsis spines. But it could very well be Notocactus.
