wish me luck!

Post by dustin0352 »

About 3 weeks ago I was searching for job postings. I happend to come across what I would call "The Dream Job" (well a dream job for someone without a degree) for the city in which I live. I applied with the mindset that I would never get a call since I do not know anyone that works there nor would I get a call because there is probably 50-100 other applicants. I still did my best with the app and cover letter with a tiny hope I would get called in. As the weeks passed I knew I was correct in thinking I would never get a call.

Well late last nite I got a call from the city wanting to know if I can come in first thing in the morning for an interview!!!!!!!! WOOT! Even if I dont get the job I have accomplished more than I ever though I would with the city! WISH ME LUCK! :D

Coming in late, but not to late to cross some fingers for you still. This is really great! It would be great for the city to get you too. :thumbleft:
