Hi Tony
Yes, please post some pics!
I know this plant only as dendrobium "phalaenopsis" type.
So a 'Dendrobium phalaenopsis' hybrid.
Edit: It is Dendrobium "Sena Red"
These are beautiful Peter Nicely photographed too. I have been becoming more interested in Orchids so now I know who to ask if in doubt about anything when I get some. Obviously you and Tony

Did somebody say Orchids? I grow a few of those too, but they all stay inside. I suppose they could live outside here all year, but that would mean less space for cacti. I do keep the Cymbidiums outside all year, however -except when they bloom!
Here are 10 just for fun!
(I hope this isn't too presumptuous to show so many.)
All Cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are Cacti
