Hello all!
I'm new here and to succulents, so I'm hoping to get some advice on my lithops. My sons "hand accidentally knocked it over"... and by that he means he pulled the poor thing up and it snapped at the roots.
I'm pretty confident it's a goner but has anyone has any experience with an issue such as this? Is there a chance it will calluse over and start a new root system?
Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Re: Lithops broken at roots ;(
Allow for the wound to heal for a few days, just pot it up and eventually (might take weeks or months) it will reroot again. Don't water in the mean time, as there are not roots to take up water. Just check on the plant every now and then to see if some roots are growing. If so, then start watering (very lightly).
So don't worry.

Can't offer advice, but on another site I did see someone's rootless lithops had regrown roots by the method Aiko mentioned above. It's possible!
