The flowering of Ariocarpus has been interrupted. Just 3 were in flower yesterday.
It was 2nd flowering for them in this season.

An ariocarpus retusus cv Shinkawa Tamazouge was in flower.
The flowering of Ariocarpus continued to the end of April last year but I am not sure in this year.

This morning was 6 'C. It is too cold in April by unknown reason.
I took 3 photos of asterias yesterday.

The weather in this autumn is abnormal. Some Astrophytum are still in flower.
Since I can see some flowering buds on Ariocarpus species, they will come back soon.

G'morning Lui,
Do you use any special special bin/ container for bottom watering ?
Almost all my cacti are watered from top except cacti amid rooting process.
Since water does not reach to bottom of cactus by top watering, you need bottom watering.

I use a bucket for the bottom watering.

Water drips from pots on both top and bottom waterings. Dripping is received by a tray which set permanently.

Both bucket and tray are made by recycle plastic designed as weather-resistance.

Two degrafted young Ariocarpus fissuratus cv godgillas were in flower.
They will be 3 years old next July.
