I used grafted plants and obtained seeds, but they grew very slowly after germination. And the vitality is not very strong, after about 20 seeds germinate, only these few are left. The plants in the picture were sown and sprouted by me in 2021. It is about two years old now.

Re: Welcome Craig Fry!
Very nice, never seen seedlings before
Re: Welcome Craig Fry!
People kept asking me if I had Gymnocalycium spegazzinii var. unguispinum
Never heard about it at first
Then when I finally saw them for sale, I bought 3
hoping for seeds soon Love how the new spines form
The grafting stock is different, looks like some kind of Echinopsis
This Pelecyphora looks like the grafted by the same person, probably from somewhere in Asia
I planted some cuttings, waiting for a flower Not sure why this Matucana madisoniorum is now growing spines from old areoles without spines
More Fert?, more light now from the new roof? hotter? colder?

Summer Photos
Mammillaria hernandezii
It formed a flower mid summer, which is odd, since it flowers normally in winter
Then a pup formed from inside the flower, never seen that before. Pink Flowered Matucana madisoniorum My special selected Lizard Skin, flowers tinted with red
from seed Gymnocalycium buenekeri seed pod Ariocarpus retusus, "Blue Boy"
from seed My "Kikko nudum" has fattened up nicely

We have some nice hanging Jungle Cactus
The heavy rains this Spring encouraged flowering
Selenicereus anthonyanus
Rick Rack, Fish Bone
Selenicereus pteranthus
We call it the Octopus, since it's got long tentacle like limbs
The buds start out with a covering of fuzz
and take a couple weeks to develop

Absolutely stunning selenicereus flowers . The anthonyanus is really amazing. Do you know if you can cross it with dragon fruit? Thanks for sharing pics!C And D wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2023 4:04 pm We have some nice hanging Jungle Cactus

Frailea atrobella
Hard to get the purple color right in bad lighting
From Tony Marino More purple
Sulcorebutia rauschii
Cherry Bomb, from seed Uebelmannia buiningii
Many flowers this year Ariocarpus retusus trigonis hybrid?
Still have not ID'ed this form of retusus
It has no areoles, whitish flowers that don't form from the center
