Contest 29: Columnars xxXX NEW FORMAT XXxx

Post by CoronaCactus »

Hello all,

Well, as mentioned earlier i have been working on a new format for these photo contests. Well, that time has now come!

I am proud to announce the new CactiGude Photo Contest!! I am also proud to announce that CoronaCactus Nursery will be sponsoring the contests each month and will be offering prizes to each contest winner. As a trial, only first place prizes will be awarded, but if this goes well, we could get into 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes. Uhmmm, so ya, it's still the same, but now prizes are being awarded :D

Since we are a global community here at CactiGuide, the prizes will be geared towards being able to be mailed anywhere in the world. We have a few nice prizes we think you'll like in the works for the next contests. There will be plant prizes offered in the future.

For this first contest prize, we are offering a Pack of 35 green plastic pots. Brand new, never used. Sizes are 2.5", 3.5", 4.5" and 6.5". (6.3cm, 9cm, 11.5cm and 16.5cm) You are free to mix and match any combination adding up to 35. All are Dillen pots, except the 2.5" (6.3cm) its made by ITML.

Contest 29: Columnars
This can be habitat or cultivation plants. Whether you have a 6" little nipper, or a 10ft monster, they all count! New arms starting, the plant in flower, a landscape habitat shot...anything you can think of that has a predominant columnar in the photo is fair game. (Yes, even blue ones ;) )

Deadline for submissions: Sunday, November 2nd, 2008

Addendum 1:
Rule 1: Only one picture per person per contest. You must own or have taken the photo posted.
Rule 13: Prizes will be awarded after the votes have been counted and verified. Prizes will be shipped within 7-10 days.

Good Luck to all!!
