The plants are just getting started, since they grow outside in the ambient temps. I think it's been a cool spirng so far here.

I'm going to post up all the flower pics from this season in this same thread, to keep things compact. Hope you enjoy.

lookin good Peterb,
Ive been growin that Echinocereus "viridiflorus" canus for a few years now, It looks to be the same size as yours. I sure hope I get some buds this year. 8)

Tony, hope you get some flowers too. Great color against those awesome spines. I was worried it wouldn't be cold enough here but it must be. "viridiflorus" in quotes because I'm skeptical...:-)

Good stuff, Peter!

My canus is probably the only Echinocereus that doesn't have buds yet :( but it has grown about an inch taller already :)

the canus flowers don't have a noticeable fragrance Chris. Maybe if it were hotter.
