The only thing harder then making the initial selection was deciding the vote. I am sure all of us would make room for any of the entries in our own collections.

The other photo that I had to pick from. I took these photos in 2009.

Unfortunately, the plant is longer with us. I lost it after transplanting it too early in the season.
I have tried to get some more cutting on their own roots, since I do have grafted plants, but I haven't been able get a single one to live past 2 months.
I will keep trying, maybe this year. I did have a bunch one year, and was selling them, but now, zero.


One other big problem about this plant is that the seeds are held inside the plant, so you have to scarfice a plant to get the seeds, they are hard to find, don't have very many seeds in each pod, and not easy to grow once you do get seeds. And, you have to have 2 different clones to get seeds at all!, it's hard to get or even know if you have 2 clones.

This grafted plant was just flowering.
