Stock rot?
Is the brown stuff on this T. pachanoi stock rot? I put the graft into a ziploc bag and left it slightly open. High humidity seems to lead to rot in my grafting attempts.

I'd take it out of the ziplock, so it can dry and heal. I've seen things like this before, and it usually occurs when the part you're grafting on isn't actively growing, and therefore takes much longer to heal/callous.
