Nice plant Bill. I understand that they grow across the entire North American continent in the mountains. Pretty amazing, and obviously a cold lover.

Thanks Buck,

It's one of my favorites in my hardy collection and yes it survives well here in zone 5.

Picking the leaves out of it come spring can be a task

Bill is the winner! Well done!

Some good competition too! Buck was right on your heals. Burggraaf's Tacinga impressed me too with flowers that open flat. I never knew that.

So what do you guys want to do next? How about picking plants within a geographic region.

For example:

Best Brazilian Cactus
OR
U.S. Cactus
OR
Carribean Cactus?

what do you think?
