I would like to know, if I pot it up as is, will it take root or do I need to cleanly cut a piece off the base, let it heal over and then pot i...

Which Euphorbia please?
I've had this Euphorbia for a few years now and this year is the first time it's flowered. I think it might be a form of E. canariensis.
Cheers Eileen

Re: Cracks appearing on Parodia

Most of my cacti are kept under cover over the winter period as it can sometimes be rather wet and cold down here in the ...

Cracks appearing on Parodia
Hi Guys Just checking my cacti yesterday and I noticed that 3 cracks have appeared on the body of one of my Parodias. Was wondering if any of you had any ideas as to what could have caused this to happen. The plant itself looks a bit scruffy as I have sprayed it with a miticide and it also has those...

Ferocactus sp ?
Hi
I bought this cactus 4 years ago and it was labelled Ferocactus ( Fish Hook cactus ). It's now about 11 cms diameter and I thought I should give it its proper name. Is this F. latispinus?
Regards
Eileen

Euphorbia cylindrifolia
Hi
I have two small cuttings of Euphorbia cylindrifolia which are flowering at the moment. Am I correct in thinking that these cuttings will not form the caudex which is typical of E. cylindrifolia, they will just form roots??
Regards
Eileen
