Really nice Tricho. Congrats Buck!
Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize that we cannot eat money.

Thanks guys. I have more than 100 images of blooms on that plant. They are always spectacular.
The quality of pictures for this contest was fabulous. Love those South American plants.
We just bought tickets to visit Northern Argentina in November. How about the same subject next year Darryl?

Congrats to the winners !!! I agree, great contest ... tough choices. In almost anyone's collection, nothing really says SA to me more then a big flowering bowl of rebutia/sulcorebutia/whatever_they_are_now.
But, the columnars just don't get the recognition they deserve. Maybe because none of us have a mature, flowering one
Great capture Buck ... win's my "long lens" award. We'll expect more of the same from your Argentina trip.
Cheers ... GeneS
